ASSISTANCE for those in the ARTS and THEATER

Provides funds to Los Angeles County artists and arts workers in all disciplines impacted by the Los Angeles fires. Individuals may apply once for up to $10,000. Funds are unrestricted and can be used in any way that alleviates financial hardship.
* Application deadline is February 18, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. PST.

Provides financial assistance to visual artists and their families experiencing an unexpected emergency situation, natural disaster, disability, bereavement, or extreme hardship. 
* Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

The Dramatist Guild Foundation provides emergency financial assistance to individual playrights, composers, lyricists, and librettists in dire need of funds due to severe hardship or unexpected illness.

Provides one-time grants of up to $5,000 for recent unexpected medical, dental, and mental health emergencies to artists in financial need* who are creating in the visual arts, film/video/electronic/digital arts, and choreography.

*To be eligible to apply, your average adjusted gross income for the last two years you’ve filed tax returns must be no greater than $75,000 ($150,000 for joint filers).

* Grant deadline has been extended to February 20, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. EST.

Collective of art professionals offering practical resources, including a detailed Resource Fact Sheet and an Insurance Claim How-To Guide, to help artists navigate wildfire recovery. Also provides informational webinars to address immediate needs; publishes a directory of local and national assistance programs; and distributes funds directly to affected artists.
Provides emergency, need-based financial support to painters, sculptors, and printmakers who have experienced catastrophic, unforeseen events. To qualify, applicants “must be able to demonstrate a minimum involvement of ten years in a mature phase of his or her work.” Deadline is ongoing and the average grant awarded is $5,000 with a maximum of $15,000.
* This program has no deadlines.
Provides $3,000 for craft artists 18 and up who have experienced a “substantially disruptive emergency or disaster,” including the Los Angeles fires.
