MUSIC INDUSTRY ASSISTANCE

Offers grants up to $5,000 for individuals currently employed within the music industry facing displacement expenses due to mandatory evacuation orders, damage, or loss due to the Los Angeles fires.

Provides emergency grants of $500 to support songwriters and composers affected by the  Los Angeles fires. 

Provides short-term disaster relief, including $1,500 in financial assistance and a $500 grocery card, to music professionals impacted by the Los Angeles fires. MusiCares also provides additional support for individuals with considerable impact, including medical issues, damaged music equipment or longer-term relocation needs. 

Available to musicians, songwriters, engineers, producers, live crew, tour bus drivers, managers, agents, A&R, makeup artists, costume designers, music video creatives & technicians, and anyone whose livelihood depends on music or makes music happen.  

Covers loss of music-related equipment, medical bills related to the event, and other vital-living expenses, including mental health resources to those impacted by the Los Angeles fires.

Available to those with at least three years where more than 50% of income their came from employment in the music industry or as a musician.

Provides an immediate grant of $1,000 to qualifying California Jazz musicians who have been impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires. Validation required.

*Deadline is April 1, 2025

Provides one-time stipends in the amount of $1,500 to ASCAP composer and songwriter members in good standing as of Jan. 1, 2025 who have suffered loss or damage to their primary residence or studio, or been evacuated from their homes as a result of the Los Angeles fires.

The stipends will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis while funds are available.
